Read the Rules Before Proceeding
You can use the comment search page to search for comments by their body, the user who created them, and/or the tags on the post the comment belongs to.
Comments may be upvoted or downvoted. By default, comments that are downvoted below -1 are hidden from view. You may adjust this threshold by changing the "Comment threshold" setting in your account settings.
New users cannot comment in the first week of signup. After that, regular members may post two comments an hour. However, if you leave a comment without bumping the post, you can comment as much as you'd like and ignore the limit.
You cannot self-upvote (upvote your own comments), and you cannot vote on more than 10 comments per hour.
Moderators may view deleted comments. DO NOT delete and repost your own comments to avoid downvotes.
Moderators may "sticky" comments by checking the "Post as moderator" box. Stickied comments are highlighted and are never hidden by downvotes.
