IF THE PICTURE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY REDRAWN USE REDRAWN INSTEAD
This tag indicates that the artist has altered their own artwork to make corrections to it. The changes may be minor (such as a missing mole) or they may be major (correcting for bad proportions).
The source of the original and revised version of the image may be identical, as the artist simply replaced the image at the source address instead of having the revised image at a different address.
This tag should not be used if the original non-revised image does not exist on Danbooru.
It should also not be used unless the difference from the prior images is discernible (ideally with the naked eye, but using the 'difference' layer mode in Photoshop is the ultimate test). Images that differ only due to being a higher resolution or less compressed should not be tagged as revisions.
To provide revisions for images with md5 mismatches, see md5 mismatch for full information.
- md5 mismatch
- has bad revision, for when the unrevised picture instead has an available revision but it is inferior to the one already on danbooru.
